"Off the beaten track very relaxing stay good choice of breakfast and friendly staff. The pathways to accommodation, lake etc are not paved so difficult with cases and if you have mobility issues not enough sun loungers if everyone wants to be by the pool lovely views "

"Our stay at Casa da Insua was a dream! The property is just stunning, with the vast gardens, vineyards, a pool, and even sheep grazing! The interior of the castle is its very own museum, with plenty of rooms and halls to explore. Our room was the perfect combination of historic charm and modern hotel luxury. We would recommend doing the wine tasting in one of the historic kitchens with Diogo, who was excellent! Our stay was one to remember."

"Perfect location to relax and appreciate the beauty of nature.
The hotel is placed in a quiet area, beatifully integrated in the landscape.
The staff was very welcome, we had a massage service and it was the best massage we've ever had, the breakfast was delicious and adapted to our taste.
Amazing experience. Will be glad to be back in the future."

"Gorgeous hotel in stunning surroundings in the Sera Estrela mountains. Lovely, really helpful staff, comfortable room with stunning view of the mountains and the pool. We only stayed one night en route to Porto so were unable use all the hotel's facilities but it was so nice we almost decided to rearrange our holiday to stay for extra nights. "
