"I stayed at the Read House off and on for more than 2 weeks. Each check-in was a pleasure. I have been in the travel industry for many years and know a gem when I see it. This historical hotel has the most accommodating caring staff…which is rare to find these days. Rooms are beautiful and location in downtown Chattanooga is perfect. "The blackout blinds work! I don't use an alarm clock, I wake when the sun comes up. The sun had been up for several hours before I woke because the room was so dark. I was a little nervous about traffic noise because the hotel is very near the interstate. I think I heard one vehicle one time. I would stay at this facility again. "

"The hotel was very clean My only complaints are paying for parking and you couldn't always find a spot near yoir room, the pool area felt like a sana cause there wasn't a way for wind to blow out there. The pool was nice. "

My friends and I were greeted with enthusiasm and provided with guest welcome bags. Also, I've never been in a hotel that offers complimentary dinner, snacks, and adult beverages! There is an atmosphere of community and fellowship, and I know that's because of the staff and culture of the hotel."
