"This is a fantastic place to stay, accessible only with a car, about 20 minutes from Carcassonne. Beautiful setting, comfortable modern room with lots of space and amenities. Amazing breakfast (best croissant I had in france), very accomodating staff."

"Due to the weather we could not do much it was way too hot however the hotel was only a 2 minute walk to the Carcassonne Castle which was very convenient and the staff were very helpful and always willing to help. But transportation was very expensive and the distances were far. Otherwise everything was great! "

"Our stay at Le Grenier Occitan, with the host couple Eric and Natalie was absolutely fantastic. It's not often that you get such a perfect match with accommodation in the middle of the countryside and with a host couple who became like new friends. We give them the highest marks. "Bel hôtel joliment décoré et la chambre était très bien pour la famille (2 pièces; l’une avec 2 lits simples l’autre avec un très grand lit). Le personnel a été très accueillant et serviable pendant notre séjour. L’hôtel est très bien situé. Il est facile de se rendre à pied à la cité médiévale en quelques minutes. Pour de bon marcheurs, il est aussi possible de se rendre à pied au Pont vieux où il y a une belle vue de la cité médiévale et au canal du midi. Le déjeuner (15 euros/personne)...

Para quem gosta de caminhar, é possivel ir a pé para locais como o Canal du Midi, Bastide e estação de trem, passando por várias lojas, restaurantes e cafés. Cama super confortável, lençóis e toalhas de muito boa qualidade assim como shampoo, condicionador, sabão líquido e hidratantes para mãos e corpo. "Great welcome from Sandra and Fred who gave us access to property 2.5 hours before check in time. They were friendly , helpful and generous throughout our stay. (Do try The food especially Fred’s signature apple cake.) Apartment comfortable and great for a few days rest half way through out our around France. The 48 steps to the flat plus 18 to the bedrooms will keep you fit! Enjoyed Carcassone and La Cite. A great stay!"
