"I loved being in the mountains in nature. Beautiful property. There are bugs birds and even a chipmunk, lovely view. Simple Breakfast was included. A bit far from the city. Wifi was down when i arrived but i had backup. I would totally go back, it is a great escape and very reasonably priced. "

"I felt so welcome the moment I walked onto the property. It’s a very secure place and I felt very safe, especially as a female, solo traveler. The check in was very easy and the kind security guard helped me to my room. Jennifer (I believe her name is) is extremely sweet and made sure I had everything I needed for my stay. "The hotel manager was amazing. I broke my phone while traveling and he was able to let me use his phone so I could get to my next destination. He was very attentive and gave me suggestions on things to do locally. My favorite part about the hotel was the pool. It has an amazing view and I was the only one at the pool! Highly recommend."

"Very comfortabe, eclectic ambiance and the staff is lovely! I stayed overnight to be close to the airport and it was perfect. Only an 8 minute taxi ride. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. Breakfast was delicious (eggs with spinach, tomatoes & onion) & fresh. Lots of shopping and restaurants choices all in walking distance as well as a beautiful park in the town center a few blocks away. Great place to sit and feed the pigeons! I can highly recommend this hotel...

"I plan on returning. The hotel is nestled in the heart of San Jose, it's a huge property. I chose it for the decor/culture of Costa Rica. I swam in a pristine Olympic sized pool, I saw several iguanas, and I don't know how many bird species and in the ceiling of my room, what I thought was a mouse, was actually a bird nest with new hatchlings, which was a bit disturbing when I was sleeping. "While it is not walkable to town, it is a beautiful, quiet, secluded oasis with a lovely garden, spectacular birds and an incredibly warm and helpful staff who helped us order dinner to be delivered and made us one of the best breakfasts we have ever had.
