"Bar staff-Alnar and Davie were very pleasant and helpful. Female bartenders had very poor attitudes. Mei Lo at the deli was so sweet and helpful. The rugs on our floor, the 11th, were filthy. The windows on the rooftop bar were so dirty, which detracted from the stellar views."

"Good hotel and we would recommend staying here. The location is really good. Access to Golden Gate Park and other interesting neighborhoods. The staff is excellent. Very welcoming, friendly and accomodating. The breakfast is decent and the wine hour is very nice. The outside, lobby and common areas are very well maintained. It is a beautiful historic hotel with a great staff. The rooms could use an upgrade considering the price. Overall, it is a very good hotel with a great staff and we would recommend staying there."

"Nice clean property in the heart of Castro. Very convenient. No frills but everything you need for a long weekend in SF. It's SF so yes, there are homeless around but they don't bother anyone and there's not a lot of them. Comfy beds and friendly staff. If you are a walker it's easy enough to get to Union Square, SOMA, Lower Haight, and Mission District. Also subway entry points nearby and streetcar comes down Market. The highlight of the property is the free parking. I'll give up some amenities to save $90 per day in parking fees as charged by most other SF hotels. Will stay there again."

"Is the most unique, detailed, well designed room for comfort & function that I’ve ever stayed in. Lights that dim, including the bathroom, smart speaker for music, entertainment, and information. Highly recommended for the location, rate, and ease of checking in. Would definitely stay again."
