"Given the age of the property I’d say it’s fairly clean and tidy. Breakfast choices were okay, could do with more selection. The dining menu was not too bad, though was slightly disappointed with the duck dish I had for dinner service. The spa was nice, again it could do with a freshen up look as most items felt well used. Otherwise it’s been a pleasant stay."

"The location is excellent wit convenient connections to terminals and rail station Access to the hotel however is a big problem if you arrive late in the evening. After a flight that arrived at 11.15 pm I arrived at the hotel door just before midnight. The door was locked, no sign of any staff at reception Pushing the bell button multiple times had no effect. The possibility of entering through another entrance on ground floor involved a walk via railway station and walk around a traffic round...

"After finally being allocated a room, the room was stiflingly hot as this was the hottest May on record, and the in room AC did not work. As such we had to open the window later that evening when the outside temperature had dropped low enough, but were then unable to get any sleep as the hotel backs on to a railway station, and we had to listen to trains arriving and departing probably every 10 mins or so until about midnight. We were leaving the hotel at 3:30am and so had not sleep at all."

"Room was very clean and comfortable, thanks for putting in the fan. receptionist was very welcoming and efficient and a lot of fun, so the stay started well. Did not use the facilities so cant comment. Overall very happy and would recommend."
