"My great grandfather was born in the very small town of Aquara and, in planning our trip from the USA to Italy, we were looking for a peaceful, welcoming spot to stay while we paid a short visit to the city. The staff was terrifically accommodating and the property was beautiful. "It was off season. Great rates! It would be nice to know there was no shuttle, and the beach areas weren’t maintained. The hotel and the staff were 5 Stars! They helped me get a car the next morning! Salerno is advertised as a great place to stay for the Amalfie coast visits. Salerno is not a place I would return to. The hotel is south, it’s peaceful, clean, and offers an amazing breakfast buffet! "
