"I have stayed at this friendly owner run hotel 3 times now.It is well situated only 2 minutes from the quay of the old port and close to all of the main attractions of La Rochelle also convenient to call back for a rest during a sight seeing day.The hotel has been upgraded since my last visit with good quality modern decor and a new bar and breakfast area that I chose not to use.Very clean and comfortable and plenty of hot water. No faults. Recomend."

The room was quiet as it was not facing the street but the location of the hotel was perfect since it was on the street with all restaurants and cafés, and just across the streets there are the ferries to the Île de Ré. The staff was superfriendly and helpful and gave me some local tourist information as well. I spent one night only, but can't be happier with the choice of this hotel."

Young Deborah and Pierre especially could come home with me to befriend my two offspring of the same age. The place itself is a gorgeous neo-classical structure of heavy sandstone blocks finished with contemporary fixings that together create a refined yet funky air of nouveau chic. Great value too."
