One thing recommending the Odyssey Boutique Hotel is its location, close to sites including one of the major train stations (Casa Port), the old medina, and the Hassan II mosque. But the thing that I most appreciated about the hotel was its staff, which were both very friendly and very helpful. I definitely would stay here again, upon any future visit to Casablanca.

Hotel was located walking distance to many sites and restaurants. Hotel is very affordable. The streets surrounding were not the cleanest but that has nothing to do with the hotel. Staff was very friendly. It was in a part of town that the locals ate and shopped in so foof in near the hotel was very good local food.

Unfortunately, Casablanca is not a city I would recommend. The hotel is located in the port area. When we walked around the local area it was filthy, with many closed businesses. It did not feel safe. The hotel itself was fine. Reception staff were very good at checkin. Our room was comfortable although the aircon was not working. Staff in the restaurant were wonderful and the breakfast was delicious. No alcohol except beer is served in the bar. Reasonable hotel if you need to be in this area.

On a tour with dinner included and the meal was subpar. Also, no coffee provided in the room or even in the lobby requiring me each morning to visit the bar to get some at an extra charge.

Terrible hotel, not recommend.
Bad experience with this (4-star) hotel: no hot water in the bathroom , no mini bar to make coffee or tea. The neighborhood is not safe. In addition, I am a gold member with hotels.com and I was qualified for free room upgrade but they offered me nothing. Recommendation: this hotel is not recommend at all. There are better options.

I’ve booked a room 2 adults and 1 child (17 yrs old). When I checked in, the guy asked me if I only booked for 2 people and made a comment that a 17 years old is not a child. I just said I’ve booked through Expedia, and definitely 17 years old it’s still considered as a child. And I showed him my booking. I understand that he’s just doing his job, but to hear this kind of comment after a long flight is no good. Overall the property is good. Happy with our stay.

Okay hotel but lie about breakfast
The hotel was fine, though a bit weird and trying to hide a lack of cleanliness. The largest complaint is we were specifically told breakfast was included when we checked in. Others were told the same, and had eaten breakfast for free for several days prior. When we went to breakfast, however, they asked us to pay for it AT THE END. Which wouldn't have been so bad, if it were good, or cheap, but since it was quite expensive and not even hot food, it didn't sit right. When we complained to the front desk they acted confused and said our reservation said no included breakfast. Why did you tell us it was included then? Overall I wouldn't stay here again, plenty of great hotels in the area that aren't going to scam us.

Great property. Spacious rooms, clean, and in a prime location in Casablanca. The only downside, which has nothing to do with the property, is there were very limited attractions in Casablanca as a whole. But specific to the property and staff it was great. One tip, the property’s website says they do currency exchange on the property, which they do not, but there are several options within a block!

Clean modern hotel in a decent area. Staff service was average. Restaurant was slow, but the food was good. The staff allow the handymen to take advantage of customers in terms of errand pricing and such. They noticed that we were scammed by their doorman and they didn’t do anything about it. It wasn’t much money, so we didn’t care; it is more about the principle.

The room was dark. The Lobby smelled like cigarette smoke. The graphics were fun and cheerful. Lobby spaces not particularly welcoming. The Location was excellent for seeing many areas of the city.

In short, terrible customer service with staff reluctant to help. Other nearby hotels offer better rates and customer satisfaction. Here are a few things that affected our stay: Staff was always unwilling to assist and almost every question or request was met with a no, unable to do so, or passing the buck to someone else. Do not respond to early check-in emails, and when you inquire in person they respond as if it was an outrageous request. Phone didn’t work, towels were not provided nor replaced when asked On our check out date, we were woken up by knocking on our doors at 8:30am by housekeeping. Checkout is at noon, so not sure why the rush to usher us out.

The desk staff were nice. Unfortunately, we were very hungry and thirsty upon arrival. The bar staff were completely out to lunch…ignored us for a long time, overcharged us for bad wine and said we couldn’t charge our bill. Suggested we go to the bank to get cash to pay them. We left very upset, never to return or suggest to anyone else.
