What we liked about it was it was convenient to the casino. What we didn't like was it's in a run down area that's a little sketchy, making you feel unsafe.

Would highly recommend. It’s a bit off the beaten path but I believe it’s well worth it! Most other hotels in the area are old and run down…and pricey! I’ll pay a fair price for a good hotel but it’s crazy to spend a “fair” price on old, dirty rundown hotels.

Loved that it was in a quaint little town. Hotel staff sent us to the best barbecue place we’ve ever had at such a reasonable price. also, a casino is right across the road.

I would not recommend to stay at this hotel again. They are continuing to put charges on my credit card that I know nothing about. I gave them my card to put down the regular room charge for essentials of which they have none. I only received one of those charges back. At 4:28am on my second day there, somebody from the hotel charged my card. I was told that would be refunded to me. It has not been refunded. Since then someone has charged larger amounts on my credit card. I paid for my room prior to staying. Nothing should have been charged to my credit card. They are continuing to try and charge my credit card. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get the charges removed.

I didn’t appreciate how they charged me for my room after telling them that the room was booked through Expedia. It took several phone calls to correct the situation. When I asked when the manager would be there to discuss the situation I was told it was none of my business.

I have stayed here 4 times now, it is always clean, the staff is always friendly. I usually am traveling alone and I feel safe everytime. Thank you to the wonderful cleaning staff for always asking me if I need anything.

We booked this hotel around 2:30pm the same day while still 4 hours away. At 7:15, the property was calling to ask where we were? We arrived shortly after. Checked in. Online it stated free breakfast. You are given a “snack sack” which had 2 cans of orange juice, a pack donuts and a granola bar. That is your free breakfast. We get in our room. We notice the size of the bed. The room advertised a queen bed, this was clearly a double bed. Still we Settled in, tired. Almost asleep when someone comes banging on our door. I get up, tell my wife to stay in bed. Ask multiple times who it is. No one would answer. The front desk then calls my cell to say that I have to come sign a paper stating we won’t smoke in the room. It is now going on 11 pm we checked in at 7:35. Poor customer service. The walls of the rooms are super thin as you can hear your neighbors television and conversations. In my opinion everything about this hotel is misleading.

Appears to be a new facility and everything in it looked and worked like new. Bed was comfortable and the location was away from the major highway noise. Location is across the street from a casino which would be convenient for some.

The rooms were new and clean but on the small side. There were no options except a single queen room. And the walls were paper thin. My son was staying in the room next to us and he could hear his dad snoring all night. That's pretty thin if you ask me...

The hotel was very clean and staff was very nice. It would have been nice to have more resteraunts but overall very nice spot.

Everything was great 👍, would definitely recommend! If there was any downfall i would say the parking lot is small, but it is suited well i think for the size (and probably has an area for overflow parking beside it 🤔) It was dark out and we were tired 😃

Great experience at this hotel! Rooms were renovated and clean. Staff were very friendly and even gave us a little welcome bag. I would stay here again and recommend to others. The gentleman who checked us in during arrival was very nice.

This was perfect stop for the night on the way to NOLA. The staff was so friendly and the room was clean and comfortable! And so close to the casino and I got $45 in free play which was free fun. Definitely would stay again!

The staff was very welcoming and everything about the facility was great. It is right across the street from a Casino and I think that’s a large portion of their guests. I was just passing through. I was a little surprised that the room didn’t have a chair or desk.

The Farmstead was like a diamond in the rough. Everything else in the town seemed rundown. We didn't go to the casino because we're not casino people, and we didn't see any place where we wanted to dine. Luckily, we had leftovers from earlier in our trip, so we could reheat them in the microwave. The staff was very nice and the room very clean, comfortable and laid out very nicely.

Staff were very kind and helpful. Very clean. Check in was a bit of challenge ? Was it bc we used Expedia? Got a handicapped room- not requested. No chair in room. A bit noisy. Small tight room. Breakfast bag was good idea, but poor contents- 2 small water bottles - same as we found in the room, Donnettes (don’t ask!) and two dollar store breakfast bars. Nicest part was the cleanliness !
