Location was perfect, right in Old Town. Staff was fantastic and attentive to all our needs and went out of their way to make our stay unique. The room took your breath away; very quite. The breakfast was so good. I would stay here in a heartbeat again.

Beautiful hotel with amazing decor and feel.

What an amazing place. Conveniently located in the old walled city next to restaurants and plenty of bars and stores to shop, including some of the best coffee I had. The pool was small but felt so romantic surrounded by palm and nestled in the walls of the building, the top roof jacuzzi was also amazing and the service provided was top notch. John and team made an amazing breakfast, and the housekeeping staff was so fast and efficient.

Too many wonderful things to say about Hotel Quadrifolio. My wife and I spent our honeymoon in Cartagena and this hotel was the perfect one for us. All of the reviews are true - the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate your requests and to make your stay the best one you could possibly have. They helped us arrange tours, brought us little gifts to celebrate our special occasion, and made every breakfast, cocktail, and meal exceptional. We communicated on WhatsApp, even to order room service, and every request was answered promptly and thoroughly. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else when we return to Cartagena. Thank you to all the staff for your incredible service, and shouts to Señora Carmen, Luis, Alice, John, Fernando, Eduardo and Darío for being exceptional.

In looking at the reviews prior to booking, I thought there’s no way a hotel could be a 10. Well I was wrong, Hotel Quadrifolio exceeded our expectations. The property was beautiful, we loved that it was a smaller place. The staff was exceptional - Alice, Dario, John, Luis, Fernando and our housekeeper made our stay unforgettable. They provide recommendations to ensure we made every moment a great adventure. The breakfast was phenomenal. And an added surprise some of the staff came to our room to sing happy birthday to my husband. If you are thinking about this hotel, stop and book. You will thoroughly enjoy the stay. We have already told many friends this is the place to be, safe and central to everything. Cannot wait to return!

This hotel is everything you desire when you’re coming to Columbia and have don’t know what to expect. It gives a beautiful old world luxe mixed with modern accommodations. It’s visually stunning at every turn, and it feels like you’re walking into someone’s home not a hotel (you can only get in through a Doorbell) staff is super friendly and knowledgeable (s/o to Luis !!) accommodating, and always there around the clock. It’s a hidden oasis compared to the outside, so don’t judge. And as a solo traveler, I always felt safe and looked after five stars deserved.

Architectural gem of an oasis.

A beautifully restored old school or religious house which is very central. Spacious and calm. Sound of courtyard fountain and ornamental pool featuring a passerelle leading to one of the dining rooms. Only irritation was the rickety dispensing water machine. Much of the water splashed onto the old tiled floor. No tea and coffee facility (a kettle) in the main lobby. The kitchen was not always open for beverages. For example, one evening repainting was going on. All other hotels on our seven weeks' of travel had hot water dispensers together with tea/coffee available without having to fetch the staff.
