The room was immaculate, the beds were comfy, check-in was cheerful and quick, and all this for $60. Certainly beyond my expectations! One caution: no restaurants were open in town that evening. Made do with the 24/7 convenience mart next door.

Friendly Staff
The motel staff are great! Only issues were with the towels. They were very dirty. Glad I had my own. The restroom is very small. I barely had room to get out of the shower.

Carrizozo is a very small town of less than a thousand people. Not much to do there. Four Winds is a decent place. Quiet, for sure. Room was spacious enough. Bed comfortable.

Room wasn’t cleaned properly. There was dog food on the floor, mold in the corners, paint chipping on the celling in the bathroom, the hanger on the back of the bathroom door was removed. The ice machine was inoperable. The a/c worked well and the beds were comfortable.

The bed was comfortable. the furniture was in shabby condition The manager was disagreeable. and confrontational the direct TV box was old and did not work well. The heater took hours to heat the room there was not a comfortable chair in the room and only one wood chair at the table so the second person had to sit on the bed.

Inside looked to have been completely remodeled. All the amenities ( 2 queen beds, table with chairs, tv, refrigerator, and microwave. The showers have new tile but no soap trays. You just dtop the soap and shampoo om the floor. Bathroom is the size of a coffin. No ice machine on site. You have to go to the front desk to get ice. They get it out of their refrigerators ice maker. I got a gallon baggy full of ice. Lobby is constantly locked.. i could not understand the desk attendant I could not check out as they would not open the lobby door in the AM. I just left.

NM Vacation
We stayed at Four Winds Motel for seven nights. The room was very clean, updated and comfortable. I had read reviews prior to booking my reservation, and was very pleased that the reviews were spot on. We will definitely stay there again whenever we are in the area. You won't be disappointed if you stay there.
