"Because this hotel recently came under new ownership, it had very few reviews when I booked. However, I was extremely pleasantly surprised upon arrival! The lobby and dining areas have already been redesigned in a classy, boutique style. While the guest rooms haven't been remodeled yet (meaning the decor doesn't quite match the updated common spaces) they are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The hotel actually has rendering plans on display showing their future vision, and it’s going to be an incredible property over the next few years. My only concern is that as these upgrades finish, prices will rise and make it less affordable for solo travelers like me."

"Very clean and lovely property with a wonderful host. Trisha was super helpful planning our day in the area. She gave great tips for other areas we were visiting as well. Breakfast was excellent and very fresh. Our room was very comfortable and extremely clean. I would highly recommend this property for any traveler in the area."

"It is difficult to know how to start or end in giving the Wild Honey Inn its due. Kate is a superbly gracious host, ever at the ready with questions to better understand your interests, and then she is a trove of attuned recommendations for local sights. WHI itself is beautifully appointed; our room was lovely and comfortable in every way. Lastly, traveller, know that the breakfast WHI will be among the high points of your entire stay in Ireland. The (Michelin-starred) chef inverted the usual hierarchy of mealtimes, putting breakfasts most firmly on top during our 4 day - 3 night stay in Co Clare. We did not know when booking what a special place WHI is, and feel very lucky to have fallen into its charms."

"There was plenty of parking and the breakfast was wonderful. Fresh coffee and a warm entree along with a continental spread. They put a lot of thought into the details. There was no AC in the hotel room but we could keep the windows open to generate enough of a breeze for the room to be comfortable. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Lastly when we arrived there were locals playing music at the bar attached to the hotel. It was nice to sit and listen to them play."

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Twelve Hotel. Our family suite was perfect for our family of 4, with two separate bedrooms. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was really well decorated. We loved the bar downstairs and all the quirky touches."
