"It's a fine hotel, have stayed here several times. Backside is towards 101 fwy so some noise (not bad). On and off ramps are literally alongside or around the corner from the property. Grounds are carefully landscaped; Spanish mission type architecture and lush atrium garden are inviting. Short drive to downtown and state beach. 15 minutes from Santa Barbara. Restaurant food is well prepared and room service is available. Staff are accommodating, e.g. we seniors needed a room close to elevator and were given a room right next to it."
