The property is old with an interesting history. Our hosts, Kevin and Maria could not be more accommodating, and were very attentive. We stayed in a room called The Lune, which was large and beautifully furnished with antiques. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty of options, and generous portions. The only area we scored them lower than "excellent " was on the eco-friendliness of the property. Eco-friendly and old stone properties cannot be put in the same sentence. I think that is an unfair question for a building such as this. We would highly recommend The Homestead to anyone, and we would certainly stay again.
