"Friendly helpful staff in all areas of the resort. The apartment was super clean and everything in good condition.
Appreciated the emergency supplies of milk, sugar, salt & pepper etc.
Beds were very comfortable - sofa bed to sit on as a sofa was uncomfortable, but then it is a sofa bed..
Position of apartment on the lakeside was a real treat. Thoroughly enjoyed stay and will come back again."

"A lovely pub with a stunning beer garden and direct access to the canal path for walks to Carnforth Morecambe and Lancaster. Only issue was the heat in the room which I appreciate it was unusually hot but room 3 also has a large noisy extractor fan outside the window so it was either heat or noise. The fan does get turned off at night. Would still stay again and the food was excellent."

"The Wheatsheaf is a typical pub hotel. Clean rooms with friendly staff.
Breakfast was individually cooked to order and was very good."

"Really nice caravan on a lovely site with pool. We really enjoyed our stay, the caravan is very well stocked with everything you need for a weekend away, very thoughtfully done. Very clean and communication excellent. Would definitely recommend. "

"This property is set in a lovely location. They do get overwhelmed staff wise. There is no air con throughout the hotel or rooms. The rooms are dated but not cheap. I do think it is overpriced."

"Great place to stay, excellent clubhouse with great staff and food. The only downside was that the suite we had was very small, with no seating and no wear to put your suitcases, and only one TV in the main bedroom, which wasn't that great when sharing with others in our party."
