Cat & Dog Friendly Hotels in Carlsbad

"Seems like the property is undergoing renovations and we were put in a newly renovated room, our room looked modern and clean, best part about this hotel is the location, 1 minute walk to the windmill food hall, plenty of good food stalls and we tried about half of them, 5 minute walk to the Carlsbad outlets, add another 5 minutes and your at the famous flower fields. I only wish it wasn’t rainy and cold bcuz the pool area looked good. 24 hour snack and water at the lobby. We ended up just walking to see the sights. Only one major issue was that our AC stopped working, they attempted to have maintenance fix it but it was a building wide problem, lucky it was cold and rainy so I didn’t have to switch rooms, this property is great for families and kids. Our 2 queen room was plenty spacious with a nice patio with courtyard view. There happened to be a weeding at the flower fields and some guest along with the bride and groom stayed on property. They took nice pictures in the garden. Will definitely book and stay again maybe when it’s hotter to utilize the pool."

"This hotel needs upgrades! The windows are single pane and you literally can hear EVERYTHING! be prepared to get no sleep! We also had a room with a kitchenette, however, it came with no pots or pans, no silverware, no dishes, nothing! So, you're on vacation and I guess they want you to buy all kitchenware in order to be able to utilize the kitchenette???? makes no sense! completely pointless to reserve a room with a kitchenette that you can't use!"

"Our experience began with an attempt to check in early; however, we were informed there would be an additional $30 fee or that we could return at the standard 3:00 p.m. check-in time. We chose to return at 3:00 p.m. as advised, but upon arrival, we experienced an additional one-hour wait before our party was accommodated. Upon entering the rooms, we encountered several cleanliness concerns. Our room had an unpleasant odor, as if water had been sitting for an extended period, and another room in our party had condom wrappers left on the floor. Additionally, my sister was initially assigned the incorrect room, which required further correction. On a more positive note, the breakfast was excellent. Despite a change in weather, the pool remained warm, and the jacuzzi was very enjoyable. The property’s location was also convenient, situated approximately 10 minutes from Legoland."

"The room was extremely stuffy . Got super hot , and then super cold . It was hard to find a happy medium . But the breakfast was superb ! The pool and jazuzzi was perfect . The basketball court was fun . "

"First property was the wrong address and the the counter person was a dick to multiple people. Second location was very un clean in my room was hair from some oneleses stay gross "

"The room was far from clean. There was pet hair on the sink counter and in the corners of the room. We saw our the first roach within an hour of getting to the room."

"Beatiful resort, parking fee is $45 for self parking. We rented suite, great size and view but would have been nice to have a mini fridge in luving room area. Great staycation. "
