stay was good. we arrived late for check-in, which we called to advise and we didn’t think would be an issue because we had reserved the exact room we wanted on the app. however, check-in was at 4 and when we arrived at 5:24, our room wasn’t ready!! we were told it wasn’t cleaned yet. how? when it was AFTER 4? we were switched to a different room w/o being asked if it was ok. and we were lucky to get a room right away ONLY because someone else canceled. so if they didn’t cancel, we would have been waiting past check-in time. hotel staff at check in were super nice tho but we could hear them say things on their walkie-talkies about our room and just put us in another without asking. one of our kids is autistic, so we reserved a room that had only 1 room next to it incase of loud noises. luckily, the canceled room worked for us. it is quiet at night and our room was good. dish-wear wasn’t clean but you can’t blame staff bc there is a dishwasher which we used for the dishes we used, so maybe it’s just the dishwashers fault. breakfast was simple, but delicious. and staff in good spirits telling us good morning. we were 2 adults & 3 kids. pool was not available, had to go to the hotel next door which was nice because that’s what the kids looked forward to, so they didn’t miss out, but would have been nice to know sister hotel didn’t accommodate with towels. and it was locked so had to wait with their check-in guest for access. so we were freezing getting out and walking back.
