Modern, clean boutique room. Helpful staff. Great food. Trivial downside - a couple of dining room windows cobwebbed with dusty blinds but wouldn’t deter us from staying again

A great place to stay, prices very reasonable, very comfortable and staff were great. A great location with plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

Room was fine. The mattress has seen better days. The bathroom sink waste stuck so couldn’t drain the bowl.

All good, Nice place to stay. Comfy bed. Had to move the desk from the end of the bed because I am tall and did not want to knock the TV off in the night. The wetroom is a bit damp as there is no window or fan. overall great.

For an overnight stay it was a good experience. The staff involed in every aspect of our stay was welcoming, friendly and professional. We enjoyed the food, which was well presented, tasty, was a decent portion and served in a timely manner. The cocktails was fantastic.

The Maltster's Arms is clean and comfortable. The area it is located in is really beautiful, with lots of historic buildings, nice little gift shops and excellent restaurants and cafes. I can highly recommend staying here.

The Malsters
It was a very pleasant stay in Llandaff for a couple of days. The room was comfortable, good value for money and food was available at an extra cost. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I had no issues with my stay and I would be happy to stay there again.

Fantastic staff
The staff went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We needed a place to store our luggage while we toured the city waiting for our train. They allowed us to leave the bags in the room and if they needed the room Ben offered to store them in his personal room. When we needed a cab, they made the calls for us. It was a really nice stay and I'd recommend it for anyone.

Stayed here while dropping my son at Uni. Was really convenient (25 min walk) to his digs in Tally South. Free parking was the initial reason I booked and was great, easy to access and felt secure. Check out time being 11am also meant I could run Cardiff Parkrun and grab a shower before leaving. The accommodation is above a pub but you wouldn’t know as it was quiet and easy to access via a side door so no need to go through the pub. Food at the pub was great and reasonably price. Staff really welcoming. Five stars, would stay again.

Great pub stay.
Wonderful pub in Wales with wonderful accommodation, great staff, and great food in the restaurant. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, with additional dining options nearby. This is what a pub-stay should be.

A relaxing break
Lovely break in the heart of the village of Llandaff. We had a room at the front which we liked as it had a view of the High Street and the Cathedral Spire. With windows open it was very noisy, which didn’t worry us at all. Rooms at the back are much quieter but no view at all. Greg, the manager, was very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay All staff very friendly. We ate in the restaurant on one night, which was very good. Several good restaurants within 5 minutes walk which we also sampled and would recommend as well. Will definitely return

Just Lovely!
We loved it - really nice room and good food. Delightful friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Wine was pricey but it's the same everywhere now. Great little town a short distance from Cardiff City. An amazing cathedral well worth a visit and just down the road. Highly recommend!

Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Up for a chat and not just rush you into your room. Food from the kitchen was delicious with a good variety. Room was comfortable. Only issue was the ensuite would get super hot due to the heated towel rack being on but the air conditioner could be adjusted to balance room temp.

Maltsters short break
Lovely place. Only problem, and only a minor issue, was a little noisy outside occasionally during the night. Sraff were really friendly and professional. Room was superb. Would definitely stay here again. Excellent location.
