"We were in Carbondale for the solar eclipse, so the hotel was very busy. The staff was still very friendly and the manager in particular was very enthusiastic about greeting each guest."

"My stay overall was okay. Dogs barking and whining didn’t help and were also frustrating. The toilet was dirty inside the bowl as well as the seat. I had to clean the seat of stains (possibly urine stains) and other matter. (I didn’t think to take a picture at the time.) The bed was clean, comfortable sheets. The pillows were in horrible condition. The staff were friendly, helpful and had a great sense of humor. "

"It's clear to me the staff is trying to improve this place. I appreciated the hospitality - especially in the attached bar which is a nice bonus to the property. Given that and a fair price I can ignore some of the areas that still need a little work, such as unsightly debris piles. The little bird in the welcome area brightened my morning, too."

"Great location and clean rooms! Hotel is easily accessible from interstate. The staff was wonderful! Pleasant and professional. The room was very spacious. Decor was pleasing. Bathroom was spacious, good shower, and other than the vanity light could have been a bit brighter, a very clean bathroom. Will definitely stay here again!"
