We reserved and paid for a king room with sofa bed. When we checked in, they didn’t have our room. They gave us 2 queens instead. No apology, just blamed third-party booking issues. Very noisy neighbors. Loose toilet seat. Old microwave and refrigerator. Definitely needs an update!

The only thing I really didn't like was that the showerhead came off the wall. It made me wonder if there was a camera because you just seen a black hole. Other than that the staff was wonderful, the bed was comfortable, the water was HOT just like i like it. I would stay again, but would make sure the showerhead stays mounted to the wall

We booked a king with sofa bed. They gave us a king with a lounge chair and tile us they didn’t have one with a sofa bed available. The last time we stayed there a light was burned out in our room. Everyday they told us they’d replace it while we were out and they never did. They told us they’d give us a credit and, again, never did.

I understand it’s being renovated but I prefer the desk to sit at to do my makeup and hair. The stand up thing with small mirror and outlets I think are meant to replace the desk. If so, it needs some kind of lighting near by. The Horizon milk we understand has a longer shelf life but it was weird having warm milk with cereal. That’s just us being nit picky, other than that everything was great!

We had a perfect stay at the Holiday Inn Carbondale-Conference Center. Our check-in was seamless and the desk attendance was very friendly. Our room was very clean and comfortable, too!

“Breakfast” was awful. Cereal & granola bars.
The choice at breakfast was cereal or a granola bar. As a diabetic, I would have preferred a protein, like eggs. This is the FIRST Holiday Inn Express I’ve been to that the breakfast has been disappointing. We ended up going elsewhere to eat.

Great Rooms - Breakfast could be better.
The room was very nice, large, quiet and updated. The bed was very comfortable. The only downfall is the breakfast. They do offer some grab-and-go type items. It would be much nicer to have a better selection of hot foods that you don't have to microwave. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
