"This is a lovely hidden gem in Tuscany. The outdoor view is refreshing and peaceful. The hosts are wonderful; the property was one of our favorite places we stayed. Very comfortable accommodations with a nice kitchen and dining area. Did a day trip to Florence which was about half an hour drive. We could have stayed here longer and been perfectly happy. "

"The building doesn’t look like it has had any money spent on it since the 1980’s.Very shabby hotel, shame on the owners, it could be fab. Had holes in sheets and towels. No duvet it’s a 1950’s style blanket between sheets. Not hygienic these days. Dirt and dust everywhere. Cushions with stains on. One pillow each. Dining chairs in the breakfast room all broken. "Fabulous! If I could give them ten stars I would. Our room was beautiful and immaculate; so comfortable I wanted to move in and live there. Breakfast was amazing; a feast for the eyes as well as the palatte. What really stood out was the staff. Every person from the front desk to housekeeping was friendly, kind, and helpful in every way. I want to say we were treated like royalty, but it's more accurate to say we were treated like family. If I ever make it to Florence again I will...

"Great hotel, well placed for sightseeing in Florence. We had a suite which was lovely. Breakfast was well presented and had a wide range of items. Staff were very attentive. There was a roof top bar, frequented by non resident patrons, you had to book to use it, even though notice said you did not. "

"While the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was amazing, getting into the hotel reception and then to our room, was quite arduous. There are about 25 steps up a smelly staircase before getting to an old tiny elevator of sorts, that takes you to the next floor and reception. Then we had to climb an additional 25 plus stairs to our room. The staff did help with that. The room is very dated, the bedspread and thin and the threadbare blanket under it have done their time. ...
