"The patio was a really nice place to go and watch the night sky and the location was great. The property overall though is showing it's age. The hall carpet has wear and dirt areas in front of the doors, and the faucet in our room was so wore out it wouldn't stay on unless it was full blast. As far as the grounds while there were some really nice amenities they were not really well kept. The last item is the cleanliness of the room. While it appeared clean, the tile floor felt kind of slippery and when I spilled water and used a white towel to wipe it up it was not clean because the towel turned brown."
"This hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere, nearest town in 20 minutes away… Having said that, its a wonderful family run hotel, EXCELLENT bedding and they provide a WIDE array of snack options and a few meal options as well."
"We went during a slow time so there weren't many rooms reserved. Plenty of parking. Close to capitol reef. Close to restaurants and gas (directly on the property). Manager was very nice and helpful. Room was nice and clean."
"What I thought was going to be the highlight of my trip to Capitol Reef ended up being one of the worst travel experiences I've ever had.
I decided to splurge on this place for my one night there and had very high expectations. I drove several hours to get there, and arrived in the evening just before it got dark. When I got to the property, there was nobody around, no obvious way to check in, and no instructions anywhere. I was a bit confused on what to do and coincidentally ran into a couple from Germany who were just as confused as I was. Apparently guests are supposed to receive check-in instructions beforehand, but I never received anything of the sort.
To make matters worse, there was basically no cell reception and no Wi-Fi. I couldn't call, message, or look anything up. I ended up having to drive 30min back down the highway just to get enough signal to call and use the internet.
I called the property multiple times and sent messages through Expedia. Nothing. No answer. No callback. No response.
I then contacted Expedia, and even they couldn't get ahold of the property. After spending a ridiculous amount of time trying to figure out what to do, I gave up and booked Capitol Reef Resort.
Here's the really crazy part: a few days later Expedia told me they still had not been able to reach the property, and because of that I was told I couldn't get a refund. What a nightmare of an experience. Avoid this place at all costs if you don't want to risk ruining your trip."
"Se trouve sur un ranch.
Cabine très agréable. Lit très confortable. Conforme à la description et aux photos.
C’était parfait pour deux adultes.
L’hôte nous a invité à une activité de Roping, le ferrage d’un cheval et nous a permis de nous promener sur le terrain du ranch et de voir les bêtes.
Adresse à garder pour une prochaine fois"
