"We loved our four days at the Fitzroy Island resort . It’s clean and semi modern enough to feel a little pampered but relaxed enough to walk around in bathers and wetsuits with snorkels on top of your head . We went in July and the pool was too cold to use unfortunately, as it looked great . We snorkelled two or three hours a day and saw Turtles, reef fish , a Lion fish , Nemo , Stingrays . "Outstanding lodge in a nature reserve with great facilities and friendly helpful staff. The chalet accommodation was spotless, comfortable and very well equipped, and the location in the nature reserve was great. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Only stayed one night, but wish we had stayed at least one more. Having said that, it was not cheap, but good value for what was on offer."

"If you are travelling with immunocompromised people , I would not recommend this motel . Cleanliness is so important . Bathrooms need good scrub. Here you are responsible for emptying your own rubbish bins . Great for arranging transport and giving tips on what to see. Nice little pool ."
