"Ive stayed at several Hampton I&S ,they're usually very nice and clean. We we're only hear for 1 night. When we checked in everything went smooth as far as reservations, the lady at the desk was somewhat nice until i started adking questions about the area and she seemed like i was bothering her.
The room was vlean as far as dust but it smelled terrible !!! Like a wet dog so we had body spray that we sprayed when we would return to the room. The walls were spot painted like they were voveting up something. The outside area at the pool was very nice.
But it seemed like the employees were mad about something, the girl at front desk made me feel like i was bothering her and the bar tender was just real short when i ordered ,there was no kind of talking at all. Then when i went to check out i asked the lady at the desk( same lady at check in) where i needed to go for my shuttle to the cruise port and she said behind the pool area ,i said can i go thru the pool area to get there? She said "you dont walk thru the pool ,you walk AROUND the pool" i said well i know that, thats not what i was asking,i was asking is there a gate back there that i can get out yo parking lot"? She said just go check in with the lady over there and pointed to the lsdy that sets up shuttle pick up. Just kinda grouchy i guess. But other than that everyone else was ok. But i think they don't like answering questions."
