"This is essentially a tired, old motel that they’ve tried to clean up and now they charge much more. The bed was very comfortable but the bathroom was still old-looking, and the furniture looked tired. It was not worth the cost- maybe at half the cost I’d stay again."

"Great location. Easy and quick to get to downtown Baddeck. Rooms were clean and nice. Beds were comfortable. TV was a Smart TV so we could stream. Complimentary breakfast was very nice. Staff was very helpful. Wifi was not working 100%. Kept going in and out."

The reality is the property is getting quite dated, the hotel has been open since 1961 and it definitely shows, with the proper updating this would once again be a top rated premium destination in Baddeck."
