"Very close to the airport, clean room, AC available. Family business. They also have a restaurant/bar. The hosts are nice and provided cold bottle water to me when I arrived. I had to go to the airport at 4:30 am and the host was nice enough to drive me there at this hour. They do provide breakfast but I checked out too early. "

"We arrived at around 2am on an Orange taxi from the airport (about 5-10 minutes and $10us) Taxi driver did not want to wait for us to be let inside. "Our room was very spacious and on the first floor. We even had a balcony at the other end of the room. The pool was small and a disabled person in our party could not get in it because there were no handrails. The setting was up in the mountains north of Alajuela and the air was fresh at night. We will return to this hotel because it is not far from the airport."

"We stayed 3 nights at Finca Vibran. The grounds and flowers are gorgeous and the views of the valley are amazing. Our room was very nice and comfortable. My only issue is that it was very warm in our room and only a small bathroom window for ventilation. Our only other option was to open our door at night (not worried about our safety at all) but the issue was bugs. There is mosquito netting over the bed, but I don't want to let all those bugs into our room. Lots of bugs anyway--beetles...
