We were disappointed with our stay. As guests, we were not informed in advance that there is an additional fee required to reserve the spa. Even more frustrating, there was no spa availability at all during our stay. The staff made no effort to accommodate us or offer any alternatives, such as discounted treatments. Had we known this beforehand, we would have chosen a more centrally located hotel, as we specifically booked a spa hotel in order to use the spa.
The room itself was clean; however, the bathroom had visible mould and stained grout, which detracted from the overall experience.
We were also surprised by the disproportionate cost of basic refreshments €27 for two bottles of water and two orange juice.
The location is quite remote, requiring a car or taxi and around a 20 minute journey to reach the town centre.
Overall, the lack of transparency regarding the spa, limited customer service, and poor value for money made this a disappointing stay.
