"Hotel Giorgione is located in a quiet area, yet very close to the busy alleys and just 10 minutes walk to San Mark Square. The hotel has large communal areas with sofas to relax and an interesting courtyard with a very big jacuzzi, that we were not able to enjoy as it opens around Easter time. The two gentlemen we met at reception (for check-in and check-out) were very pleasant, helpful and professional. A special thank you to Walter, the lovely barman, who makes the most magnificent Sgroppino in Venice!"

"The hotel is really beautifully decorated, keeping up with Venizian style, spacious and clean. The reason for lower rating are the following: 1/no complementary water in the room (small water bottles available in mini bar for €8!). Water is such a basic necessity I would have expected from a 5* hotlel, 2/ no kettle not coffee machine in rooms, 3/ Cleaning staff was entering our room every evening without knocking and didn't speak English. "
