"It exceeded my expectations. Would usually stay at the Malcolm but there was no availability anywhere so we stayed at the lamp post and were very happy we did. Room was clean uncomfortable. I would recommend staying there"

"Was a bit concerned by the outside look of the hotel, but it turned out to be a very comfortable stay. Big king bed, renovated bathroom, and one of the most amazing views I've had from any hotel room, with a full view of the mountains. Yes, you could hear the band at night - as they warned - but it was far from loud, and we had no trouble sleeping through it. Perfect location right at the entrance to the main pedestrian street, alongside Policemen's Creek. Highly recommended - wish we hadn't...
