I walked around the property, rang doorbells, and called by phone, but unfortunately received no response. "I can think of nothing to dislike about this extraordinary property. Beautiful, manicured lawns and gardens offering beautiful vistas and pathways. The main lodge and rooms are so beautifully decorated and the atrium and dining room are spectacular as is the food. Enjoyed sitting at the bar with a nice glass of wine and chatting with the knowledgeable, nice, young bartender. Staff is friendly and helpful all leading the visitor to a special experience."

"This property was supposedly renovated recently. The contractors they had do the job were terrible! There was paint all over the ceiling and the bathtub in the bathroom had old, dried caulking all around the bathtub. When we arrived, we had to ask for toilet paper, soap, a remote control for the TV, and also realized the refrigerator was broken. Also, the restaurant there was closed on the weekends and we were not told that we would have no breakfast on Monday because it was memorial day and...

"The room was clean but could use some remodeling. My room didn’t have a microwave (I guess you have to request a room with one), but I could use the breakfast area microwave. The bed was comfortable but squeaky. One front desk employee was particularly helpful and friendly. Overall my stay went well."

"Unfortunately not a great experience with the hotel iron. Used the iron and it had something on it the stained a brand new shirt. Brought the iron to the desk and told them about the situation and not too helpful. Likely won’t stay again. The breakfast was pretty good though."
