Caroe Farmhouse
Our stay here was great & would recommend staying at the Caroe Farmhouse. The host was very warm, generous, helpful and informative. The room was spacious with a good sized bathroom and very clean. Breakfast was realy good.

We had a lovely stay here, the atmosphere was very peaceful. The host was friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Very comfortable room and beautiful scenery. I would recommend Caroe Farmhouse to anyone.

Greeted by owner on arrival and offered tea and cake. Beautiful property in quiet rural location. Breakfast and variety on offer excellent. Owners always took an interest in what your plans were for the day, and gave good advice on where to go, and what to see. Highly recommend, and would definitely stay at Caroe again.

Caroe Farmhouse
It was a fantastic break in Cornwall despite the rain and wind. The host made a real effort to know us. This was shown right at the beginning when we booked in. She made us a cup of tea and served us with a slice of cake. We will definitely book this venue again and recommend it to our friends in future.

Excellent accommodation
Excellent short break at this truly fantastic B&B. Hosts are very friendly and the plentiful breakfasts freshly cooked and served by them. Rooms are large as are en-suites and both are kept very clean. Couldn’t have asked for more and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The perfect spot for peace and rest from our busy lives with the choice of driving around different areas close by to enjoy. Lovely and fresh looking building as you approach the farmhouse. Go very slow down the narrow roads as on coming vehicles who know them well have a speed on. The farmhouse have fire doors so sometimes you hear them slamming without care of attention.

Comfy, homely and relaxed
A lovely homely welcome from the hosts and a beautiful comfy bedroom, bathroom and bed. Great breakfast - not a massive buffet style choice but as a consequence was clearly freshly cooked and tasty with a variety of cereal and a fresh fruit salad also available. A car is needed but a good base if north cornwall is your thing with Bude and Widemouth one way and Boscastle and Tintagel the other.

This was our returning stay at Caroe Farmhouse. Great location. Room (Jamaica) was excellent with great shower. Delicious cooked breakfast cooked by Cynthia. Recommend highly.

A very special place
This is a truly wonderful place to stay if you are exploring the north Cornish coast. The hosts are are warm and welcoming, the house is beautiful and the breakfast is truly amazing with fresh, locally sourced produce. Brian and Cynthia will do all they can to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

Cannot fault! Luxurious retreat
The cynic in me is always sceptical when a property has such perfect reviews, but I shouldn’t have been in this case - the place really is something special! Cynthia and Brian run a relaxing and welcoming countryside retreat - spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Our Lyonesse room was huge, with a bathroom almost the same size with huge shower and separate free-standing bath. The room was very private and a real retreat after a day walking/exploring nearby. At the same time, the owners are super helpful, chatty, and prepare a mean full English each morning - was a pleasure to stay with them!

Lovely stay couldn’t fault anything
Lovely place to stay, In a nice quite area. A very friendly welcome and show round. Room was well presented and clean. It also has all the bits we might need tea/coffee facilities, towels and mini toiletries if needed (Chocolate and cookies were a great tasty extra) comfortable bed, good night sleep, and lovely powerful hot shower. Gorgeous breakfast with lots to choose from, very tasty fruit salad. Lots of lovely things to see and do in the area, Tintagel Castle was lovely (recommend booking) St. Nectars Glen waterfall was also very lovely. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Friendly Farmhouse for a relaxing stay
Such a great start to our holiday in Cornwall meeting Cynthia and Brian and being welcomed in with a cup of tea and a slice of cake. The atmosphere is like meeting up with old friends and having a chat in the bright and airy farmhouse kitchen. Our room was the Lyonesse which was beautifully decorated with just the right mix of elegant with all the comforts of home. A really comfortable bed and restful night sleep followed by a delicious full English breakfast, cereal, toast and pots of tea set us up nicely for the day. I really enjoyed the fresh fruit salad with Greek yoghurt. Cynthia and Brian made sure we had everything we needed and they were both very friendly with a great sense of humour. Caroe Farmhouse is nestled nicely in the gorgeous Cornish countryside down quiet country lanes with beautiful views which makes it a peaceful place to come back to after a busy day. I would love to go and stay again and definitely recommend it to anyone considering visiting Cornwall.

We found the owners of Caroe farmhouse so wonderfully warming and very welcoming on our arrival,i am always nervous about staying anywhere but at Caroe Farmhouse there was nothing to be worried with.We stayed in the Camelot room,most stunning im now going home to decorate.The breakfast was perfect, again its not normally for me but it was so delicous well cooked and plenty of choice.We can not express enough how friendly and homely our stay was.

Great experience. Lovely restored country farm house that is a short distance from the coast in wonderfully beautiful scenic countryside. A lovely B&B, off the beaten track but close enough to The best routes to see the beautiful North Cornish coastline.
