"The place was really nice in every way — relaxed and friendly staff, clean property, and reasonable prices. My only comment is that it wasn’t easy to find the location or the reception. We had to call for directions, as the postcode alone wasn’t sufficient. Once we parked the car, we had to phone again to locate the reception, but a friendly staff member came to our rescue. Now that we know where it is, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. Pam was friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were excellent. We could see the sea from our bedroom window. It is a little far to the centre of town, so if you don't have a car, be prepared."

"It was cute and the bathroom and sheets etc were clean. The rug was not clean (my shoes picked up several hairballs.). Great location with easy access to everything. Amenities in the room were limited without hairdryer or mini fridge or hooks to hang wet towels. But there were a coffee set up and water for two people (on check in only.)"

Went directly to front desk to fix as soon as got to the room. Took a while to fix that with no apology. Got a new room. Some staff friendly and some not. "We found all staff very friendly and accomodating. It is an older style hotel with carpets and larger rooms which was nice. The restaurant sports bar had terrific food and a breakfast was offered with stay with hot food choices."

This would have been a 5*, but unfortunately we got the attic room, which involved MANY stairs up. Given my mother's age and mobility, this negatively impacted the enjoyment of our stay.
