"Me and my friend went for couple days arrived late Monday contacted property to say we would be there for 11pm. Lady on reception was very nice and helpful, we had a studio with pool view the room was very clean and tidy balcony was a good size and the kitchen was great if you needed to cook but we never. "This was our third stay at Son Caliu and it remains somewhere we genuinely love returning to. The hotel has a calm, Mediterranean feel and is perfect for switching off. Our standard room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped, and we appreciated the thoughtful welcome gifts as returning guests. The only downside was occasional corridor noise. Days were split between the pool and beach. The beach is still wonderfully peaceful, but the pool area felt busier than previous visits, with larger groups not always being mindful of noise, which slightly changed the usual relaxed atmosphere. We also happened to be there during a World Cup match, and the usually quiet Capricho Bar was full of British guests watching the game together, which was a fun touch. The main disappointment was dining. We tried half board, but the first evening was stressful due to difficulties explaining a nut allergy and lack of flexibility with the menu. Although it improved the next night, we chose to eat out instead. Thankfully there are great local restaurants nearby, and breakfast at the hotel remains excellent. We also used the spa before our late flight, which was a nice way to end the stay. Special thanks to Danny at the bar and a lovely member of the garden bar team for their warm, friendly service. Overall, we’ll definitely return, but next time we’ll stick to bed and breakfast."
