"We had to book rooms for our softball team trip to OKC for the Women's College World Series after our VRBO canceled on us at the very last minute. VRBO gave us this hotel as an alternative option. We booked 6 rooms to accommodate our group at over $6k for 3 nights. Room rates were $350 per night. Immediately following booking, we found an alternative that worked better for us, so we canceled the rooms. They would only refund $4k back, leaving a youth softball team to eat $2k in "fees". "We took our daughters to a concert there, and while they were able to walk to the concert’s venue we stayed for the “social hour” at the dining room. They gave us carnitas tacos (because of taco Tuesday) beer and wine. My husband and I really enjoyed a couple hours talking, eating and drinking peacefully!!! We loved our stay there!!! Next morning the breakfast was delicious with lots of options, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. 10/10"

"The Ambassador is a fantastic hotel — people, location and accommodations. We flew into OKC during a terrific storm, and the staff could not have been more supportive. Even with the power knocked out, they let us get a drink at the bar to settle our nerves. I will always stay here when visiting. One of my favorite hotels in the U.S. "

"The hotel itself was great and the staff also. The problem was the valet parking, which was very expensive and we had to leave before they came to work, and could not get out of the parking lot. The desk clerk did come out to help us. But we were almost late for our appointment."

"Room was clean but in need of some electrical upgrades. Outlets were added but no USB charging ports. No loose shampoo bottles and our maid did not fill when asked."

"This is a really solid Holiday Inn. Relatively short walk to the arena for a game as well as to the riverwalk area. Good location. No complaints or negatives that I can think of … I’m usually not a breakfast person, but stopped here and it was a solid one IMO."

"This is in a great location to Bricktown. You could walk to it. The room itself was great with some really nice personal touches. It was very clean. The location of the actual room was awful though. It was right across from the front desk and so was incredibly loud from every direction. I would definitely recommend repurposing this room all together. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again."
