"We loved the historic vibe of the property and being able to leisurely stroll around viewing the art collection. Mary Eddy’s restaurant was fabulous! The only thing that I think could be improved upon was the use of the hotel pool by private party guests. I specifically booked this property because the pool looked so inviting. We were prohibited from using the pool for a few hours because a private party booked it and when we arrived at the pool after the party there were no chairs available to us because all the party guests had taken up every poolside chair. Party guests lingered long after the party. We stood in the pool until 2 bar stools became available. I would like management to address this issue as we did not feel welcome in the pool in the property we were paying to stay at. All other parts of our experience were wonderful. "

"Beautifull lay out. Quiet, clean and staff were helpfull. Far from any shopping/convenience store/pharmacy but the Tram was close by. Amtrak was just walking distance. No drinking water provided. Has a self laundry room."

"Excellent! Newly remodeled and very clean. It’s was quiet and the room was nice. Loved the bar at the top of the hotel. The only constructive criticism would be the employees at the front desk when we checked in around 4-4:30 that day. They acted like they didn’t want to be there and when we asked directions on how to get to the Amphitheater Zoo for a concert the gal said she wasn’t sure. Definitely didn’t seem interested in assisting. "
