"The hotel was nice clean and staff friendly. The only issue is the pool it is by the restaurant so that made it a no go. The breakfast was ok more vegetarian options need. Overall it was a nice stay"

The neighborhood did not seem safe, and there were no restaurants in close proximity, so a car is needed. Recommend for those not wanting to stay in Port of Spain. Host and staff were gracious and helpful. "

"From check in to check out the. hospitality of the staff was remarkable. Breakfast was hot and delicious, drinks were well made and the view from th lobby during sunset was amazing. The room is dated including the linen but it was very clean and no weird odor. Did not partake in the pool but the water looked very inviting and refreshing. Thank you to all the staff that I interacted with that made this a wonderful experience. "

"The location was very convenient and I could easily walk to places. I like that right across the street there were places to eat. The room was serviced daily which was very nice. The staff in general were quite lovely. I would have liked more local food options. I definitely recommend staying there and would stay there in the future. "We stayed at the Regent Star overnight for a layover and we had a very pleasant experience. The shuttle to the from the airport was very convenient, the breakfast was good, and they allowed us a late checkout which was wonderful. The bed was a little firmer than we like, but we had a good night of rest. We’d definitely stay here again!"
