"Very quiet and super clean hotel. Would stay here again. Although a few kms from Matera (Sassi) it was super easy to find and to get to tours. Dinners and breakfasts were excellent!"

"We had a fantastic stay at Le Stanze del Console. The location is perfect for exploring the town, piazza, and a short walk to the famous 007 bridge. The staff were fantastic - they were available at any time, and the rooms were cleaned every day. It's a family-run business, so the staff are very friendly. We are coming back! "Parking was easy to find directly beside the hotel. Location provided nice stop on tour of the region. Hotel breakfast was excellent, copious and varied. Staff were kind and attentive."

"We were in two rooms below ground level, which were quiet, but no airflow. One room had a shower that was too small for an adult. They were clean and relatively comfortable otherwise. Breakfast was pastry and yogurt. We were able to park in one of the garages, otherwise, parking could be difficult. The location is awesome - very hard to find initially - it looks like it’s impossible to get to, but once you know, you know. Guessing that their other rooms may be nicer."
