Great location but dreadful rooms!

This hotel is in a great location as it’s very central. That’s the only good point, as the rooms were awful! Dark and small with dated furniture. It was like a student dorm conversion with a shared kitchen. Best to avoid!

Door entrance a little difficult to find though it’s obvious once you know. Sign small lost among others and you have to press a call button within a group of others which is not made clear you before you arrivee. That said it’s ideal for a solo traveller and very close to the rail station and town old centre. Air conditioning is excellent. It is a small room but all you need for one night. Staff really nice and helpful.

The accommodation was very good. Clean and tidy, in the very center of the city, very very good location. The host took care of everything we needed, in the morning coffee, water, juice and small snacks were waiting for us in the room. Very professional. Parking across the street and cheap to pay. We will return to this accommodation. We recommend it to everyone!!!

We had a fantastic stay at Vela Rooms. Ting, and the staff there are incredible. The Room was kept immaculately, super clean, every day stocked with baked goods, water and juice. And it was quiet at night. Ting was a wealth of information on what to do in Cagliari and the surrounding countryside and was so kind to us. There are wonderful restaurants half a block away, so centrally located in the heart of Cagliari, and the bus and train station are like 3 blocks away. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay in Cagliari. We will definitely return to enjoy great service, and the incredible food and beaches in the area. Thank you, Vela Rooms for a fantastic stay.

Nice accommodation right in the centre. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only thing was there was a lot of noise in the morning coming from the street outside. Probably best to stay in a room that's not at the front

Well located

Very comfortable room in a property located directly opposite the harbour. As this property is centrally located, there is no onsite parking. There is plenty of parking opposite but one has to continually monitor the parking meters.

If you have a car, there is no parking on this property. You have to find public parking on one way streets, which is very difficult/challenging. We loved that it was close to the old historic neighbourhood, where we could walk for hours, discovering different historical landmarks and small, quaint shops.

The location is exceptional: across the street from the port and close to major attractions. However, due to this prime location, it might also be somewhat loud at night since there are bars and restaurants located in the same & adjacent buildings. The room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was provided in the room due to Covid-19. Parking is free in the evening and on the weekend, which works well if you are at the beach during the day, otherwise, it might be a little trickier finding free parking nearby.

Amazing stay

Our stay was amazing, only thing that we were not completely satisfied with,was the breakfast, it wasnt enough, but the hotel staff said that because of the virus they are not offering warm breakfast. The location, hospitality, cleanliness, room was 10/10.

Ho soggiornato per 6 notti in questa struttura. In pieno centro di Cagliari...comodi i sevizi per raggiungere le spiagge della città, costa rei, pula e villasimius da visitare. Personale cortese, camere insonorizzate, buona colazione e il sorriso di Gabriele...il ragazzo che ti accoglie al tuo arrivo. E un ottimo B&B dove ti trovi a fare colazione con persone di tutto il mondo in visita a Cagliari. ❤️❤️
