"With free onsite parking, this hotel was a convenient base from which we could take day trips around Sardinia with our rental car. The room/suite was very spacious, clean, and had a small fridge/mini-bar as well as an electric tea kettle. The free Wifi worked well, the staff was very courteous and helpful, and the price was reasonable."

"La struttura offre il self check-in. Purtroppo le indicazioni riguardo il check-in sono arrivate più tardi dell’orario stabilito e i codici per ritirare la chiave erano errati. Quando siamo finalmente riusciti ad accedere alla stanza abbiamo purtroppo trovato la stanza molto sporca, con peli capelli e polvere in tutti gli angoli. Abbiamo mandato le foto all’host che senza il nostro permesso ha mandato una persona a pulire nuovamente la nostra stanza. Purtroppo questa persona è entrata in camera...

"A little way out as I normally go for city centre but just a €15 cab ride. Delightful staff, wonderful breakfast and a good gym and pool and if you chose to eat in the restaurant the food was great. The staff could not be kinder to help me with a late checkout .. Loved my stay so Thank You everybody involved."

"On arrival I was greeted warmly and given instructions of the area :) He was so good at giving me tips. The cleaner made my holiday. She spoke Italian, I spoke English, we hugged we kissed every day I was there! Made me feel like so at home. And breakfast I was greeted with the kindest staff, always served with a smile. I was given another room as the first one had an issue with the shower as the water wasn’t contained to one section so I spent the night worried that the water would spill...

"Very communicative host, who helped us find parking during the Americas Cup and was very engaged at breakfast. Easy access and bathrooms clean, excellent location directly in center of Cagliari. However the rooms themselves are pretty dated and in need of renovation - unclean walls, damp smell, etc. Recommend they need a thorough touch up."

"The room was pristine and really easy to follow instructions when we arrived late. Helpful staff the next morning. Great location to explore the city from, fun mini gym with workouts on screen. Super Caffe for breakfast or drinks on the corner at the top of the road."

"Stayed in Ambrogio Fogar. Nice room although the dimensions of 35 square metres were not the same as advertised on the website (70) and the bathroom was also not the same one as described. Would have been nicer to have a wardrobe instead of hanging clothes out in the open though. The room is very large but a lot of space is wasted. The breakfast was, quite honestly, a bit of a non-starter. Each table was given 2 croissant and 3 small pieces of bread. A big bread basket at the buffet would have...

"Ideally placed for the shopping/restaurants. Small hotel and staff, very, very helpful, making excursion reservations and arranging cabs. Room was a little “quirky”, especially the shower behind the bed, not in the bathroom! Noticed that boutique hotels often have eccentricities😀. Everything very clean."

"many things, the room manual with places to eat and historical locations to visit. The shower was so nice and LARGE. Nice to be able to turn around and not bump into the control handle, or bend over to wash your toes. The bed was very comfortable. The Air Conditioner actually works. Plus we did not hear any of the other guests during the night, but we know new guests arrived and departed during our stay. Also great location, easy to walk to the City Center, or take a bus to any part of the city....
