"Just returned from a short break up in north Wales having stayed at Tŷ Tabitha Wynne. The communication up to and during the stay was great from Fliss and we felt very welcome upon arrival. The house has had a lot of love put into it and it’s great that the original features and building methods have been preserved. The house is well equipped and cosy. "Nice clean rooms. No lift. The meals and bar area are very good. Parking on site. The only downside was in our rooms the tv only had four random channels one day and none the next. "

"I have stayed at The Pied Bull twice in the last year when visiting from the US. I stayed in 2 different rooms, a twin and then a double, both in the main building. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. The pros are location, being convenient to everything that Chester has to offer including sightseeing, shops and places to eat. The price is also reasonable for being in the city center. The cons are no parking on site, although there are many options within a 10 minute walk from the property....

"I was a bit disappointed especially given the marketing (that team gets 5 stars!). I thought the rooms were outdated and a little worn, the breakfast was cold and limited, the pool and gym are part of a private member facility (so busy in the evening), the food in the pub/bar was terrible (!!) and when we asked if there were two singles available we were told we could easily use the sofa bed, but not linen provided. Perhaps I’ve done too much travelling and am jaded, but … On the plus side, easy...
