"The apartment had fantastic views of the estuary and city, and was spacious. Had basic cooking equipment, but not really sufficient for regular self- catering. Decor a bit tired, and could do with Netflix / Prime on TV for travellers for whom Spanish isn't their first language. "

He provided us with a map, recommended wonderful places to visit, and even suggested fantastic restaurants for lunch and dinner. His kindness, knowledge, and genuine care for guests truly stood out. "Hotel was acceptable, with clean rooms and ample breakfast. There is a feeling that it’s overdue a significant refurbishment, but comfortable stay overall. Important note: this might be a cultural difference, but the inclusive spa visit makes flip-flops AND swimming cap mandatory - if you don’t have your own upon arrival the hotel requires you to purchase both from the spa reception. This is somewhat unusual for a 4-star hotel in my experience, so worth specifically mentioning. "
