"This was a wonderful experience. The host family was charming, considerate, and very accommodating. The pictured stairway is the entrance to the host's single family home. The host family lives upstairs over the one bedroom, one bathroom, work from home (wfh) studio apartment, which is on the ground floor. Everything was clean. I had roaches crawling on the floor, no shower soap, a hole In the bathroom wall, poor TV channel access, no one answered the front desk after I tried to call them on three different occasions. I had to leave early in the morning to attend a conference, and when I came back and asked for a refund, they told me they would have done it but it was after 12pm and their system did not connect with Expedia’s. "We stayed there while visiting family, so we simply needed a pet friendly hotel, but I feel they could improve breakfast. They had a fridge that held whole milk and packs of butter, but no yogurt as you might find in another hotel. Three of the four cereal dispensers had something inside and all were sugary options. Lastly, the waffle batter had a sour taste when cooked. They don’t need more options, but stock what you do offer and make sure the food isn’t going bad."
