  • Young Red Colobus Monkey. Day trips to Jozani are very straight forward. In Stone Town, tours can be booked at the old fort. November is storm season, but it is also Spring here, so there are lots of young creatures around. You have to take a local guide from the Forest information centre and you get walked through the forest. This is not a bad thing, as there are a load of side paths and no signage, so I think getting lost would be pretty straight forward. The other good thing about a network of guides on the ground, is that they find the monkeys easily, meaning you get to spend more time with them, rather than looking for them.

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Man fühlt sich von der ersten Sekunde an nicht wohl. Die Zimmer erinnern an Gefängniszellen, die Ausstattung ist miserabel, Moskitonetze sind zu klein oder kaputt, die Klimaanlage kostet extra, die Zustellbetten sind Strandliegen auf den man defintiv nicht gesund schlafen kann. Der naheliegende Strand ist zwar schön, aber KOMPLETT leer, es gibt in der nahen Umgebung weder Läden oder Strände.

Great little backpackers. The private room is small but adequate and the ensuite an added plus. Hosts are kind and very helpful and the beach just a 3 min walk away.

Abbiamo soggiornato a zanzibar dream lodge a natale,quindi nella calda estate zanzibarina.abbiamo occupato una camera doppia ed una tripla con bagno privato. la struttura si compone di una parte comune-reception, ristorante con bellissima terrazza, e casa dei proprietari-e di una vera e propria casa a parte dove sono le camere.il transfert dall'aeroporto è stato puntuale e preciso.il cibo è davvero OTTIMO ed i prezzi onesti.maria luisa è stata molto gentile nell'organizzazione di 2 giorni a nungwi e nel proporci un cenone di natale eccezionale. purtroppo abbiamo usufruito solo di 4 notti sulle 11 prenotate perché la totale mancanza di areazione nelle camere,che pure sono dotate di rumorose pale,e l'assenza di aria condizionata,hanno fatto si che fosse per noi impossibile dormire.la temperatura infatti era ingestibile soprattutto nella doppia nonostante i ventilatori aggiuntivi fornitici la seconda notte.ci siamo visti costretti,avendo 2bambini piccoli,a pernottare in altre strutture di cui una senza a/c e abbiamo potuto riposare grazie a migliori condizioni di circolo d'aria.le camere sono esposte al sole tutto il giorno ed essendo circondate da altre abitazioni non riescono a beneficiare del vento marino presente tutto il giorno e dell'abbassamento notturno della temperatura.ci è stata proposta un'altra camera ma comunque sempre senza aria condizionata,e solo l'ultimo giorno una con a/c con pagamento di sovrapprezzo.

We stayed at Zanzibar dream lodge for 2 weeks. Only customer cause the low season, so we had spécial things. To know for take somes nights : The food is very good, they take spécial time to cooking for us, you have so many choices ; starters, snack, meat, fish, pasta, pancakes, fruits... The breakfast is Health ; Coffee, tea, eggs, some bread, sometimes chapati, sometimes pancakes, fresh fruits for sur, toast With marmelade/ butter. You are not in front the sea but you have only 1 minute to walk to the beach. And to finish, the staff is very kindly, thanks to Kassim, Omar and other for ALL! 5/5!
