"Large bedroom and recently modernised en-suite. All clean and tidy. Nice and warm (4 day stay in January). Breakfasts were excellent and the food available for the evening meals in the pub part of the hotel was also good. All of the staff were warm, friendly and helpful. The car park is big. Breakfast does not start until 7.30am. You order it from the menu the night before and it was always ready for 7.30 for me, but I was there on business it left me quite tight for getting to my meeting...

"Perfect location. Bus stop and train station are close by. Property run down and in need of repairs. You get what you pay for! No internet in the rooms only in the pub next door. Can hear pigeons outside and sounded like something was in the loft. "

"9/10. We are a family of four and stayed in the Resolution Room. It was exceptionally clean and very spacious, with two bedrooms and a huge bathroom. A small continental breakfast is provided in the room, including a pastry, cookies, yogurt, a selection of cereals, apples, juice, and milk. Nothing particularly special, which is why I rated it 9/10 rather than 10/10, but it was included in the very reasonable room rate and, as we are not big breakfast eaters, it suited us perfectly.
