Gabriel Motor Inn

"Our room at the Gabriel Motor Inn was just what was needed after our journey from over the mountains. It was a reasonable size room with everything in working order with a nice shower. The bed was comfortable and the parking is at your door. The motel is perfectly situated 100 metres from the RSL and 300 metres in the other direction to the Niagara Cafe for breakfast. (you gotta go there) When next in Gundagai we will stay at the Gabriel Motor Inn again. Recommended."

"Clean, convenient, wonderful and peaceful stay! Only comment is regarding the bed which sank in very easily and was not supportive at all making it uncomfortable, the king bed seems to also be two joined beds with a hard joint in the middle. Other than that the stay was great"

"The bulb in my bedside lamp failed during the night. On a whim, I mentioned this in my check-in review. (I idly wondered who reads these reviews anyway). Within 5 minutes I had a knock at the door - the lamp was fixed immediately. I was astounded. Not only do they read the reviews - they act on them. I intended to mention the bulb when I saw one of the staff. To me it wasn't that big a deal as I wouldn't need the light until that night. The reaction I received assured me that to the proprietors any infraction was something to be remedied at once. You can't buy that sort of dedication."
