"Excellent location, exceptionally comfortable room and lovely amenities. Housekeeping was wonderful. Disappointing view of brick wall from 1st floor. Asked desk about alternative empty room but they simply said No because of my booking terms. They did not look for an alternative vacancy nor offer an upgrade."

"Prefer to have tea stations in the room. Somewhat noisy someone kicking trash cans at 3am & the window didn’t fully close. But overall great stay for the price"

"Breakfast buffet had the worst scrambled eggs I have ever tasted - tasted like they were made from powdered eggs. Asked if a fried egg was possible & told know. Otherwise the food was good. Staff were slow at dinner & had to make multiple requests for utensils & to order. Staff outside of the restaurant were excellent "

"What a lovely hotel. We were welcomed with complimentary prosecco but lovely, friendly staff. The room was spacious and very clean. Bathroom was nicely decorated with a goegeous shower. Perfect location too. "

"This was a convenient hotel that was reasonably well appointed. Rooms were fine and quite comfortable. The challenge for us was the variable degrees of hostility of staff on desk. When we arrived on Friday 24th April night, one almost felt like one was troubling the surly staff. And I'm sorry to say, if we don't want breakfast, we don't want it. Continuing to mention it will almost make us double down. Check out was wonderful. A lovely, friendly young man helped us. He put our bags away, to pick up later. When we called back, late 26th afternoon to pick them up, the young lady was lovely. However, we witnessed others checking in & there eas clearly more surliness and hostility. It doesn't take much to be pleasant. Do better, folks. "
