"Max’s Roost was lovely! Clean, bright. It feels more like an AirBnB because there isn’t an in-person reception, but the communication was good and effective. There is a nice organized binder in the room to answer any questions you might have. My only warning is the bedframe is VERY creaky. If you turn over, it’s going to creak—very loudly. It’s alarming. Otherwise, it’s comfortable. At the restaurant below (which we highly recommend), some sort of mechanical noises started somewhere between...

"We loved the view of Lake Champlain and the quietness of the area. There was an event going on one night but they were gone by the time we returned around 7:30. Continental breakfast was good. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very clean and roomy for two people. I would return!"
