Nice, clean, affordable hotel in Bulle

This is a great, clean, well priced hotel near the train, shops, and the city of Gruyeres. The staff are very kind and accommodating, even letting us check in early and providing discounts to local attractions! Would recommend!

The attic room I stayed in was great and had an excellent view. The staff were friendly. As a solo backpacker looking to visit Gruyere with a one night stays in Bulle, the very limited check in/out times and inability to check a bag made it complicated to visit the HR Giger museum. The only window that worked involved taking the train to Gruyere in the morning to visit as soon as it opened at 10 am, then taking the train back to bulle in time for the noon checkout. it’s a short ride, and fine if you’re ready for the climb up the hill. It’s enough time to have a pretty thorough look at the museum.

DON’T BOOK LATE!

Well… I booked late, at 8:00pm which is warned not to be accepted in some text in Hotel.com as the reception is closed at that time… Still it was advertised and possible to book. At 10:00 pm I am worried, getting no answer from the hotel… I call the phone number provided for the hotel at night. I waited 20 minutes the first Time. 5 minutes the second, called Hotel.com. Conclusion for Hotel.com: I should have read carefully the small characters before booking the hotel. Conclusion for the hotel: Yeah, well, I didn’t wait « long enough » in the call so I won’t be refunded. I did not sleep there.

当日はスイス鉄道のトラブルで荷物不達があり、フロントでその話をしたところ対処方法についていろいろアドバイスを頂きました。荷物は単なる遅配だったようで翌朝無事に受取が出来ました。また、シュヴァルブランのレストランを利用しましたが、担当下さったウェイターが大変温かいもてなしをして下さり、非常によい夕食を摂ることが出来ました。デザートに頂いたチーズとバーミセル（栗のクリームペーストを絞ったお菓子）が感動的に美味しかったです。ありがとうございました。

Nuit d’hôtel

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à l'hôtel qui est très bien placé. L'accueil a été chaleureux et les hôtesses étaient vraiment très sympathiques. La chambre était assez grande, ce qui était très confortable. Cependant, un petit bémol : nous étions situés au dernier étage, sous un Velux, et à côté de l'hôtel, il y a une boîte de nuit. Cela a causé quelques nuisances sonores, principalement des basses qui résonnaient dans l'appartement. Cela a légèrement perturbé notre sommeil. Mais à part cela, l'expérience était globalement positive.

Très bien situé au centre de Bulle, proche des restaurants et de la gare, l’hôtel m’a proposé une belle chambre rénovée et mansardée, avec beaucoup de cachet. En cas de problème de mobilité, l’annoncer à la réservation car l’ascenseur va jusqu’au 3ème étage alors qu’il y a justement ces jolies chambres mansardées au 4eme étage: la montée du dernier étage se fait à pied avec les valises. Pour le petit déjeuner, il y a un super tea room juste en face, le 3 T the tea time, vraiment à recommander.

The hotel is very clean and has an excellent bathroom in the room. It was confusing to locate the front desk and I had to eventually call and ask where they were. The signs were just very unclear. There was no way to request one bed so my partner and I ended up with a bed that had a large gap down the middle as I suspect this was seen as the two bed twin option? Very uncomfortable. Everyone we interacted with was polite.
