Good mid range hotel in a great location

That was my second stay at this hotel. They have improved, rooms are more up to date. Still comfortable and quiet area. The location is top notch, you can walk to a lot of attractions, metro is not far either. The included breakfast is cold only, no hot options but is adequate.

The room was totally clean. The room was quiet. The bathroom was accessible, though it could have used a few towel racks and shelves or vanity. The staff were helpful. Overall a very nice place and an easy walk to lots of sights.

the location is awesome. great food within walking distance. also easy walk to the plaza de mayo and colon theater. they also had a nice breakfast in the mornings. Only negative was the building itself. I am guessing it is an old building, you could hear all the water in the walls people taking showers and flushing toilets etc. so it wasnt the most quiet place in the world but overall this was a nice place for a decent price and convenient location.

The hotel's facilities and rooms are good. However, the service at the reception and in the breakfast room was poor most of the time. The receptionists were not helpful or friendly. I stayed at the Merit San Telmo for 7 days and never saw a smile or courtesy from the receptionists. Fortunately, the maids were very friendly and professional.
